Microsoft Windows Patch Testing

Back to CSS/CSR Overview

OIT-ITS is responsible for testing windows operating system patches. Below is a list of Microsoft O/S and security patches that have been tested and deployed with applications defined in the standard administrative desktop suite. Deployment of these patches will help to keep the desktop at the highest possible OS patch level.

The patch testing process is performed against the current Windows 2000 standard administrative desktop suite and all distributed administrative systems software. Testing is developed against each application within the standard desktop suite to simulate user experience. Upon completion of testing, information on the testing of the patch will be posted to this page along with the date of deployment. A complete overview of the central patch management service is available.
