The Office of Information Technology provides seamless, reliable, high-speed interfaces with technology use, planning, and support for faculty. This includes state-of-the-art instructional and classroom technologies that are transparently interwoven into the educational environment.

Types of Support

• The OIT Customer Support Center offers day-to-day computing support.
• OIT can help you with getting access to computing resources at Georgia Tech. We operate the campus network, which provides Internet connectivity to the entire campus, and we manage the user accounts that enable access to your official campus email and more.
• OIT offers software that can be downloaded to your desktop. Check out the software for faculty.
• We have many classrooms on campus enhanced by technology to help you teach more effectively. We have online information about the classrooms we support.
• We also offer instructional tools and support to help you with your classes each semester. See how we can help you use WebCT and other new tools.
• OIT is committed to helping you secure your systems from hackers and viruses. See our information security advice and recommendations.
• OIT's Printing and Copying Services provides a wide range of of printing related needs from black and white copying to multi-color printing of letterheads, envelopes, business cards, forms, newsletters, brochures, and more.
• OIT manages the PeopleSoft, Banner, and OSP applications used by faculty and staff to enter and report student, human resources, financial, and contract information.
• OIT has useful reports and associated installer files for the Crystal Reports user community.
