Position Summary:
Supervise the production of pre-press computer files prepared by the staff as well as files prepared by the customers. Assist customers in designing pieces for reproduction, i.e., stationery, forms, brochures, newsletters, etc.

Major Responsibilities:
Performs any combination of the following duties according to specific departmental guidelines:

  1. Supervise and participate in the production of all pre-press work done by computer software programs and ensure the files are output to the appropriate imaging device and material.
  2. Provide customer service and assist customers/students campus-wide who are creating their own computer files for reproduction.
  3. Maintain/update the computers and copier peripherals on site with the latest software revisions.
  4. Maintain chemical bath processor used for processing paper and film materials.
  5. Monitor/maintain the supplies for copiers, printers and fax machines.
  6. Attend production meetings with department Managers to discuss workflow, progress, damage control, procedures, etc.

Education: A Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree or two years college work.
Minimum Prior Experience: Four to five years of job-related experience.
