The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides technology leadership and support to the Georgia Institute of Technology. In its unique role, OIT serves as the primary source of information technology and telecommunications services and support for students, faculty, staff, and researchers. Services and resources range from operating and maintaining the Georgia Tech network, which provides Internet connectivity to the entire campus, to protecting the integrity of the Institute’s data and critical administrative systems. OIT consists of six directorates: Architecture and Infrastructure, Academic and Research Technologies, Information Technology Services, Enterprise Information Systems, Information Security, and Resource Management.
