As software needs grow on the Georgia Tech campus, so does the need for better communication about the software that is available for use. The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has heard the requests and launched a new site: Software License Administration.
The PACE team is in the planning stages of another large procurement starting soon after the new year. If you would like to purchase HPC equipment, or know somebody that might be interested, please let us know. The more pots we can combine on the front end, the better discounts we expect to be able to negotiate for all.
Winter break (as well as other semester breaks) is a time when we vacate campus offices and residence halls, leaving thousands of desktop computers unattended. Please take appropriate measures to keep your computer, your files, and our network safe.
The campus Partnership for an Advanced Computing Environment (PACE) will be hosting an informational session with Q&A about current supercomputing capabilities on campus. The meeting will be held in MARC room 101 on Thursday, December 9 at 1:00 PM.
