OneIT is all about building the IT community of practice at Georgia Tech amongst IT professionals. If you do IT related work at GT, then you are part of the campus IT community, and part of OneIT. We all strive to meet the needs of those that depend on our services, yet we share common challenges. As a community we will work together to make things better.
The OneIT initiative focuses on three main areas:
- Fostering professional development opportunity
- Documenting and improving the technical environment for IT professionals
- Better delivering services to meet the needs of IT professionals and all campus consumers
We encourage you to provide feedback and ideas to any of the steering committee members, Steve Hodges, or Mark "MJ" Juliano about whatever is important to you regarding building an IT community on campus.
Over the coming weeks we will be posting a series of social and working events along with an invitation to members of the GT IT community to participate in activities around focus areas that hold interest for them.
Please check back soon as we will be adding content here regularly!
