Academic building requests regarding the campus cable TV system should:
- Phone the Technology Support Center at 404-894-7173 (Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday), or place a Web Help Request at http://www.remedy.gatech.edu/support, or e-mail support@oit.gatech.edu.
- Ask that your request be assigned to Call Center "OIT" : Department "ART" : Service Area "ART-CATV"

OIT manages and provides engineering support for the cable television (CATV) headend, satellite, and video distribution facilities at Georgia Tech's primary campus in Atlanta – a 750 MHz Hybrid Fiber/Coax Satellite Master Antenna video distribution system located in Rich Building – in partnership with Georgia Tech Cable Network (GTCN), a division of Auxiliary Service's Department of Housing.
GTCN manages the contracts with the system's programming providers, supplies on-campus video production services, and provides CATV system customer support and repairs in the Residential buildings through Housing's ResNet technology support team. OIT provides customer support and repairs for the Academic CATV system in more than 55 non-residential buildings.
GTCN's current channel lineup is 109 analog and 6 digital channels, including 6 locally originated channels for Georgia Tech exclusive programming. A few of the channels are not broadcast to the Academic buildings due to contractual agreements with programming providers. Periodically GTCN conducts a competitive bidding process to choose a programming provider for the campus cable system, which may in turn cause changes in the channel lineup.
