The Office of Information Technology frequently receives requests for information regarding the addition of software products. These requests are an integral part of the assessment process and often are the reason for detailed evaluation and cost analysis of new software products. Criteria for software packages are comprised of; terms of vendor agreements, minimum order requirements, technical support accessibility, and cost recovery projections.
