Installations, upgrades and support of networking equipment in new and existing buildings on the Georgia Tech campus.
This service is restricted to building administrators and respective departmental IT Staff.
Support Hours: New requests and simple additions and changes are fielded Mon-Fri, 7:00AM-5:00PM EST.
Note that schedules for installations and upgrades are coordinated with appropriate unit-level administration ahead of work schedule.
Additional network capacity must be funded by either a department or a project. Assuming sufficient notice and funding are provided, OIT will order, receive, configure, and install the new equipment ahead of the users’ requirements.
Please note that support is limited to network connectivity at the data outlet. The customer is responsible for configuring or troubleshooting end-user device connectivity.
