OIT and the Georgia Tech IT Community do not recommend the Microsoft Vista operating system for most users at this time. We advise that you work with your departmental technical support resources when considering a move to the Vista operating system.

Additionally, OIT advises you to consult with your departmental technical support personnel to determine if moving to Office 2007 is advisable.

Software Distribution

This system has been set up to allow you to download site-licensed software. To use this system, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be current Georgia Tech staff. (All software must be uninstalled when you leave.)
• You must have an active GT account
• Your browser must accept cookies
• You must have a browser that supports 128-bit encyption
• Your browser must have JavaScript enabled

If all of these requirements have been met, please continue.

Other packages, such as Matlab and AutoCad are available from the ECS Software site. OIT does not distribute or support this software.
